About Fakahatchee

Fakahatchee is a dynamically driven Country Band founded in April of 1992. Their original music is a unique blend of the old style traditional country music and the honky tonkin' southern rock of the 70's.

For their club and even performances, the bands primary music is country from today's Top 40 to yesterdays classics. Southern rock and classic rock-n-roll is introduced when appropriate to please all audiences.

Fakahatchee has performed at many night clubs throughout Florida such as: R&R Lounge in Clewiston, Pure Country, Hillbilly Rock, Desperados and Gone Country in Ft. Lauderdale, The Village Barn and Joyland in Bradenton, Joyland in St. Petersburg, The Wild West Saloon in Punta Gorda, The Crystal Pistol, Marina 31, Johns Tavern, LJ's Lounge and Flashbacks in Ft. Myers, Cheers Lounge, The Silver Dollar, Club 41, Double Duece, The Country Spot in Naples, as well as Whiskey River in Macon, GA., Kerrigans in Lyons, GA., Crystal Palace Casino in The Bahamas.

Fakahatchee has opened on the road for such acts as: Lonestar, Toby Keith, Daryle Worley, Tracy Lawrence, George Jones, Gary Allan, Tracy Byrd, Clint Black, Charlie Daniels, Confederate Railroad, Marty Stuart, Sawyer Brown, Earl Thomas Conley, Mark Wills, Doug Supernaw, Clinton Gregory, Steve Holy, Vern Gosdin, John Anderson, Jeff Carson, Asleep at the Wheel, LeAnn Wolmack and many more.

The originality of the bands name is taken from a Southwest Florida Everglades Preserve named by the Seminole Indians and is translated to mean Hunting River or A Place In The Woods. We chose Fakahatchee because of it's historic nature and geographical location from which the band members are from.
