Fakahatchee is a dynamically driven Country Band founded in April of 1992. Their original music is a unique blend of the old style traditional country music and the honky tonkin' southern rock of the 70's.
For their club and even performances, the bands primary music is country from today's Top 40 to yesterdays classics. Southern rock and classic rock-n-roll is introduced when appropriate to please all audiences.

The originality of the bands name is taken from a Southwest Florida Everglades Preserve named by the Seminole Indians and is translated to mean Hunting River or A Place In The Woods. We chose Fakahatchee because of it's historic nature and geographical location from which the band members are from.
