History
Wedgepiece is an acoustic guitar-centric duo from Fort Myers, Florida comprised of Scot Lade and Mark Marinelli.
Having opened for such legendary punk acts as Black Flag, Dead Kennedys and Minor Threat in his old band, Disorderly Conduct, Scot brings the same level of intensity to this new, albeit quieter, venture. The years toiling behind Amen lead singer Casey Chaos prepared Scot well for the art of fronting a band and every wedgepiece performance demonstrates this. None of this, however, is to diminish what wedgepiece is really all about: pen great songs and sing them with honesty and integrity. Their songs are immediate, memorable; a kind of simple reminder that life is not to be sung about by machines or millionaires.
