History
Willie Miller, 44, aka Chilly Willy, started the High Tide band in October 2005 and has been rocking it up and down the Southwest Florida coast ever since.
Willie Miller sought out fellow musicians in his quest to form a band with a broad range of abilities in style. He used to play with an all blues band. "I wanted to venture out and do something different. We don't just play one style of music. We never do the same thing every night," Miller said.
High Tide is a high energy dance band covering reggae, classic rock, motown, r&b, funk and easy listening songs. "We can cover everything from Bob Marley's "Waiting in Vein" to Commodores "Brickhouse," Miller said.

Influences
According to Miller, all the band members grew up playing different styles of music. All have been playing music for more than 30 years. "It's not often you get a band where everyone gets along. We have the best relationship on and off stage. We're like brothers. These guys are my family. I love them," Miller said.
