At 2:45 p.m., Precinct 462 at St. John’s Episcopal Church off Crayton Road had no voters.

At the time, the precinct had seen about 100 voters. A few trickled in here and there over the next half hour.

“It’s one at a time. Basically no lines. No waiting,” said Sandra Rogers, precinct clerk.

She said there are probably a few reasons why the precinct wasn’t busier. Many people did early voting, while others filed absentee ballots. Also, many of the precinct’s voters are seasonal residents who won’t return until winter.
