Problems with a power sub-station near the Citrus Park Mall in Tampa is blamed for an outage this morning that affected about 1800 customers - a couple of them polling places.

TECO says a wire fell into the sub-station at 7:25 a.m. but power was restored within an hour by 8:23 a.m.
Due to the power issues a couple of the precincts in the Citrus Park area experienced a lack of power in the opening moments of the election.
