America's greatest threat lies within

Finnegan on traditional values

There is an ole saying, "Look to the past to see the future." Now, we can also add, "look to the present to fear the future," at least what our silence will bring. We either stand up and be counted for what we believe in, or remain cowards hiding under our beds, or in front of our televisions.

Looking to past civilizations we see in ancient times that every civilization in which sexual abuses were allowed to flourish and become the norm, that signaled the beginning of the end. Ancient Egypt, Babylon, Greece, and Rome all examples.

Here in America we see militant homosexual activists, aided by militant Judges, (often open homosexuals themselves) are attempting to do the same in America. A country founded as a Judeo Christian Nation over 230 years ago in real danger from those who would change its moral compass in drastic ways.

Judges who openly flaunt our constitution, by their openly biased decisions where they make the law, instead of their proper job of interpreting the legislation proposed. Thereby usurping the rightful job of the Executive Branch of our elected officials to make all laws through the voice of you and I, the people.

No where is this danger more apparent than the success these fellow faux judges have provided militant homosexual activists hell bound to change the over 2000 year sexual culture of America. Examples abound such as traditional marriage being thrown under the bus. The sacred union between one man and one woman. Their attack on family and children as recently shown in both Massachusetts and now Florida, by denying to children the father and mother that each deserves through homosexual "adoption."

One must realize that when you create a same sex "marriage," you also create a same sex family, and now the question becomes, "what is in the best interest of children?" Same sex "marriage" subjects children to a vast untested social experiment. Children need to grow up understanding the proper human relationships between a man and a woman. Mother and Father, husband and wife. The two most loving dads can never become a mom and vice versa. Voluminous research has shown clearly, that children always do better in families with both a father and mother. For a society to intentionally create fatherless and motherless families as a matter of law and public policy is unconscionable.

A common sense (not always something that prevails in this area) discussion would be, what would you think if someone told you that it does not matter whether an adopted child is raised by a husband and wife, or by a homosexually active couple of two men or two women? This is exactly what activist homosexual Judge Vaughn Walker declaired with his ruling striking down the voice of over 7,000,000 voters in California regarding proposition 8. Now the same has occured here in Florida regarding adoption with activist District Court Judge Lawrence King's ruling.

In Judge King's ruling he callously usurped the authority of the Florida State legislators, as he again made law instead of his proper job of interpreting it. King unconsciousnessly imposed his personal beliefs on the 18,000,000 Floridians declairing adoption a "right," not a privilege built on what is best for our children, families, and country. If the people of Florida want to change the present state adoption law, the state legislature, not some misguided and biased judge is the only way to do so under the constitution that guides all of us.

Whether homosexual "marriage", homosexual adoption, don't ask, don't tell, refusals for parents to "opt out" their children in public schools from graphic homosexual indoctrination starting as early as kindergarden, all these become sacrificial goats to the real agenda of the homosexual activists. That being, their unholy demands for universal acceptance of homosexual acts as being moral, legal, religiously accepted, and politically accepted. An acceptance that must show celebration and affirmation of a life choice that history has shown to be dangerous, disease prone, sinful, and a dead end, as normal and healthy.

A few words of warning to those caught in this lifestyle:

From the Old Testament:
Genesis 19:4-13
Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13
Deuterotomy 23:17-18 and 22:5

From the New Testament:
Romans: 1:24-27
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
1 Timothy 1:10-11
Jude 1:7

So what can those who disagree with the push from the small number of homosexual activists who wish to insert their life choice upon our everyday life do?

First do not allow the hatred of a few homosexual activists to make you respond with hatred. Respond yes, but without a doubt in the "hate the sin, love the sinner" manner. Pray that Our Lord will allow HIS words to change their hearts and actions.

Don't expect a hug and welcome from those who disagree, but know that you have the right and the duty to vocalize your deeply held beliefs as followers of the teachings of Jesus Christ so clearly on this issue. Review the 9 examples given earlier on Our Lords teachings on this. Educate yourself on this issue. For your asking, an excellent book, The Homosexual Agenda" will be sent to you. Alan Sears of the Alliance Defense Fund is the author.

Realize that the activity of rogue and activist judges can be changed by your ability to elect those who will support our Christian teachings. Vote for Life and Family matters first and foremost, before your wallet. I am proud to say I have been a one issue (abortion) voter since 1973, and now a two issue voter for as long as I am voting.

Learn the candidates stand on these issues, it could not be more important in the upcoming election. Support those with your vote and financial help that will protect our most precious commodity, our children/grandchildren, our family and country. The failure to refuse to do so is simply to costly not to.

Blessings, Jim Finnegan

An old Irish Blessing:

May those who love us love us, and those who do not love us, may God turn their hearts, and if HE does not turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles, so we will know them by their limping.
