Turning the Tide in the Abortion Struggle.

In 1995, Gallup polls showed 56% of Americans called them selves pro choice (although very few ever saw the "choice," before or after the abortion) ) and 33% Pro Life. Today polls show that 51% of Baby Boomers, the children of WW 11 generation, and the largest supporters of the legalization of abortion to begin with, now view abortion as wrong. 58% of Millennials (age 18-29) and 60% of Generation Xers (age 30-44) say abortion is morrally wrong.
One reason for this change, is this change in demographics. In addition, it is the people who respect life that are having the future Pro Life citizens.

Two other reasons for the change are technology and the truth. In 1973, Justice Blackmun appealed to ignorance to justify the decision in Roe v Wade, which made "legal" the slaughter of children right up to thre moment of birth. His written decision said, "at this point in the develoment of man's knowledge, we can not resolve he difficult decision of when life begins." "If it could be determined that the fetus is a living human person, then the case collapses, for the fetus right to life would then be guranteed specifically by the 14th amendment.

New Pro Life activists use technology to depict the moral corruption that follows when the sacredness of life is denied. The internet, new media, and social networking all spread the word. Sonograms, ultrasound, photoscopy (camera in the womb) all testify to the humanity of the soon to be born child within the womb, while pictures of what abortions does, is available through the internet and often shown in front of killing centers such as Planned Parenthood.

Life is the most precious gift we are given by Almighty God. It is the foundation of every other right we enjoy. One can be a little hungry, a little naked, a little in prison, but not a little alive.

Those who support abortion directly, or indirectly by their silence or their vote, play God by their actions. To them, the right to life is no longer absolute, but now based on the acceptance and worth that others give to the child. Scripture alone answers that question.

The Bible will always remain the greatest "history book" ever compiled. Recording of course clearly God's will for HIS people. Lets end by looking at what Christ's words are regarding the evil of abortion and the sanctity of life within the bible. We need to ask HIS forgiveness for those who have ignored these teachings. Ponder in our hearts these words of God that follow in order to discern HIS will as spoken so clearly.

Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born I dedicated you. Jeremiah 1:5

You formed my inmost being, you knit me in my mothers womb. Psalms 139:13

You were born, not by natural generation, nor by human choice, nor by man's decision, but of God. John 1:13

Lord, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created. Revelation 4:11

For the child shall be consecrated to God from the womb, until the day of his death. Judges 13:7

The innocent and the just you shall not put to death. Exodus 23:7

And you shall spurge from your midst the guilt of innocen blood. Deuterotomy 21:9

Can unjust JUDGES be your allies, those who create burdens in the name of the law, those who conspire against the just and condemn the innocent to death? Surely the Lord our God will destroy them. Psalms 94: 21,23 (a strong argument against those Judges who decided Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton)

They are odious, they have done abominable things, yet they are not at all ashamed, they know not how to blush. Jerimiah 8:12

And whoever receives one child such as this in my name, receives me. Matthew 18:5

In just the same way, it is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost Matthew 18:14

But she will be saved through motherhood, provided women persevere in faith and love and holiness, with self-control. 1 Timothy 2:15

I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose Life. Deuterotomy 30:19

And from man in regard to his fellow man, I will demand an accounting for human life, says the Lord Genesis 9:5

But you wretch, vilest of all men, do not in your insolence, concern yourself with unfounded hopes, as you raise your hand against the children of heaven. You have not yet escaped the judgment of the almighty and all-seeing God. 2 Maccabees 7:34-35

Thus says the Lord; do wha is right and just. Rescue the victim from the hand of his oppressor. Jeremiah 22:3

Before men are life and death, whichever he chooses shall be given him. Sirach 15:17

Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour the child when she gave birth Revelation 12:4 (a strong argument against the evil of partial birth abortion)

And my favorite. My marching orders over the past 38 years have come clearly from this:

Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death. Don't stand by and let them die. Don't try to disclaim responsibility by saying you did not know about it, for God who knows all hearts knows yours, and HE knows you knew! and HE will reward everyone according to his deeds. Proverbs 24: 11-12.

Words of great wisdom from HE who loves you more than any earthly creature. Who is with you to love, forgive, and direct you to eternal life. Ignore with the free will God gave us at our own peril.
