While the government's calculation of inflation, captured in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), currently stands at a modest +1%, Christmas inflation seems to be quite higher.

PNC has been following the costs of the items in the 12-days of Christmas song. 2010 has proven to be a rather expensive year (+9%).
