Mission Statement: To promote better government in the City of Naples, Collier County, and State of Florida. Founded in 1991 by five men in Gulf Shore concerned about activities in the Naples City Council at the time, the Greater Naples Better Government Committee (GNBGC) was registered as a Political Committee (PC) in 1991 and has remained an active PC ever since – the oldest continuously operating PC in Collier County. In the past 20 years, GNBC has significantly expanded its scope of activities to include the endorsements of candidates, monitoring their performance after election, and taking positions on issues.
