Weather has turned to the Cold fishing Fizzles some.
Posted January 12, 2007
Fished a father and son team from the North for 6 hours in the first part of the week. Caught some nice trout a couple of small Snook and some other species which will go unnamed but didn't really get on to any great action. Saw lots of Reds on the Flats but they just didn't want to cooperatre with anything we were throwing. I took them to some beautiful flats that the fish were tailing on and pushing all over but the fish just wouldn't take our offerings. It sure was nice to see them but surely dissapointing to the anglers when the fish would charge the bait and then turn off. Thats fishing!
The rest of the week has been cold and blustery so had to cancel a couple of days. Will be fishing a makeup day today, will give you the results next week. Last weekends CCA Tourney went well for the anglers 4 teams caught two fish limits placing them in the money. Check the Naples CCA home page for touney results. Well until next week Good Fishing and Casting Roan z.
