A special dress at That Special Dress

The Savvy Shopper

New Year's Eve is sneaking up on us very fast and if you want to be belle of the ball you must visit That Special Dress. You feel like a princess just trying them on! This is definitely a special store for any special occasion! They have long gowns of every color and tea length gowns and short cocktail dresses. Some are one of a kind so you won't find any one else with your gown on. Many are so elegant with the hand beading or embellishments.

The store is owned by Donna and Joe Corso who had a store similar to this one in Connecticut for 15 years. They came to sunny Florida to retire....but flunked retire!! And opened this wonderful store!

The Corso's specialize in dresses or gowns for Mother of the bride or groom with a very nice selection. They do informal weddings...mostly on the beach. Gorgeous gowns for all the special fund raisers we have down here. Black tie, cocktail parties or dressy jackets with perhaps a jazzy pair of palazzo pants.

They also carry shoes, hand bags and jewelry to go with your outfit, so it is really one stop shopping. Donna and Joe are experts at helping you select the perfect dress so your occasion will be one to remember! They said the hottest colors for fall and winter are red, brown or bronzes. Also lots of glitz and glamour! Their forte is of course the gowns but they do carry that simple little black dress to glamorous ball gowns.

That Special Dress is open Thursday-Friday and Saturday form 10-5 and they'll take appointments on Monday-Tuesday and Wednesday. They are trying to get a little of that retirement time in!

The store is located at 25161 Chamber of Commerce Dr. in Bonita Springs. Phone: 498-0022

To help you find it...they are behind Big Al's and just down from Steinmart on 41.

I have not seen a store around here with the selection and quality of the merchandise found in this store! Go check it out and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
