HEAD TO COSTCO!!



The big hype this week is all about Harry Potter. Barnes & Noble was open late, not releasing the book until midnight...people waiting in line...not me!

I went to the new Costco in Estero and found stacks of the books at a lower price of $18.91 for the book and those of you who are really addicted, there was a box of 17 CD's for $39.99.

You could really get your fill of Harry Potter!

If you do not belong to Costco you can become a member for $50 a year and catch the bargains all year long. Everything from soup (60 oz. of chicken noodle soup that tastes like homemade and will feed a family of 6 for $9.99) to nuts (38 oz. of smoked almonds $9.99)

Other buys were Carter's sun wear for little ones $5.49, cheaper than the Carter's store! Sleepers from Little Me $5.49. Osh Kosh boys cargo shorts $10.99, also girls skort set $16.99 and little sun dresses only $11.99.

Liz Wear linen crop pant $21.49 and Liz V tee's $14.79. Calvin Klein long tanks $16.99, Docker's skort $16.49 and New York Laundry skort just $10.49.

Men's O.C. cargo shorts $14.99, Tommy Hilfiger polo's $19.99, Red Sand board shorts $19.99, PGA tour polo golf shirts $14.99 and the best buy...Tommy Bahama tropical print shirts at $69.99! All you fans of Tommy Bahama knows if you buy them in one of their stores they will set you back more than a weeks allowance!!

Costco sells furniture, too. Hand painted console $599, a Farmyard wine rack that holds glasses, plus 68 bottles of your favorite wine (which they also sell) is only $549.99. Granite top porcelain sink in a furniture piece $529.99.

How about a Fisher Price beach party jeep? It plays beach music and goes up to 5 mph for 3 years and up at $189.99.

Everyone knows about the grocery department...good buys are lamb chops at $5.99 a pound and filet mignon at $12.99...these are the BEST! A huge pizza only $7.99

You can find everything with one stop shopping...beauty and health products, a pharmacy, optical and photo departments. Baby goods, electronics and cameras, carpet, counter tops...you name it!

I can't go in there without stopping at the food court for a frozen yogurt for $1.25 or a hot dog or polish dog and a drink, just $1.50.

A huge slice of pizza, $1.99. Where can you go for lunch for that price?

Also find a travel section, tires, liquor store and gas...this weeks price $2.88.

If you are not a member you should consider joining. The new store at Gulf Coast Center is never crowded, no lines to wait in and the gas pumps have all been free every time I fill up.
