THE PAPER MERCHANT

A paper store and more!

I like to go into this store just to look around because they always have something new. I love their note cards and invitations, they are out of the ordinary. You can get a great laugh from some of the greeting cards...there is a wide selection for any occasion.

They carry Crane stationery...you can get it personalized. A box of monogrammed notes was $18.50. Also find Kate Spade stationery....I thought she made purses!! And I thought Vera Wang made wedding dresses...but there it was on the shelf...Vera Wang stationery! There is a huge book of stationery to order from.

They do their biggest business in weddings. They also have a huge book of all kinds of things just for that special day.

Having a party? You will find all kinds of paper plates, napkins and cups in a large assortment of colors and prints to go with that special invitation. Going to a party? You will need gift wrap and ribbon or a pretty gift bag...great assortment!

Also to be found are the funny tea towels, like..."I'm not over the hill...just on the back nine!" Or..."Because I'm the Queen...that's why!" That one is my favorite!

Paper Merchant carries a whole line of leather products, briefcases, organizers, desk sets and picture frames.

If you are looking for a special hostess gift there are a lot of unusual little items to choose from.

The Paper Merchant has three stores, one in Olde Naples on 13th Avenue, another in the Village on Venetian Bay on Gulf Shore Blvd. in Naples and the one I visited at the Promenade at 26811 South Bay Drive in Bonita Springs.

Again, I was the only customer in the store but the sales lady didn't have the time of day for me!! Good thing I like their products!!

Personally shopped for you! Find more shopping news in the Banner's Shopping section.
