This little shop will hold your interest with all the great things to see! I stumbled across Miss Lucy's House of Holidays last week, where more is better! It is Fort Myers' largest home for fairies by Mark Roberts... they are precious!
They also carry Katherine's Kollection, which I have never seen anywhere...it a collection of whimsical characters dressed to the nines, like a frog dressed like Carman Miranda, $275. Or a fancy crab at $200, a turtle for $72. It is hard to describe these, you have to go in and have a look. It is a mix of whimsical and classic.
There is a large selection of Waterford, unusual clocks, Crabtree & Evelyn, and the popular diffusers. You will find hand-dipped candles in all colors; they are dripless and smokeless for $8.95 a pair. One wall of shelving is of brightly colored pitchers and dishes.
The manager, Josh Brown, said they change the colors with the seasons, aqua, sky blue, periwinkle are the colors of summer right now.
The Mik Wright greeting cards were a hoot! Flowery? Never! Sappy? Hardly! Goofy? ALWAYS!! He uses old photos from family albums to make the cards and the things he comes up with---HILARIOUS!! $3.95.
He also carries beautiful Kate Spade crystal and enamel picture frames. Josh is the only one in Florida to carry the New York Home collection. I also found wonderful selection of potpourri by Garden Route made in Fort Myers.
The shop is located at 14261 S. Tamiami Trail, Suite 17 in Fort Myers. It is in a small strip mall where the Sprint store is located.
Josh was very helpful and fun to visit with, so go see him for some fun shopping and that unusual gift.
