55 degrees....wine and cheese!

That has a nice ring to it doesn't it? This is the name of a new wine and cheese store in Gulf Coast Town Center. I stopped in yesterday to see what it was all about. They have a large wine selection that you can't find in other stores. The owners want you to know there are more wines other than those from California.

If you have a special occasion you may want to check it out. I saw wine from $10 a bottle to $400 a bottle...yes I said 4-0-0!! That's what I would call FINE WINE!!

There is a big circular all glass walk in cooler that was pretty impressive. The unusual thing is the wine tasting enomatic wine dispenser. It is a circular wine carousel with 16 different kinds of wine on it...(even the $400 bottle was on it!)

You buy a card to taste...it is like a credit card in 10, 20 or 50 dollar amounts. It slides into the dispenser much like an ATM machine and you choose the wines you want to taste. One ounce, two and a half ounce or a five ounce glass. The machine lights up and tells you just how much each wine will cost. What a concept!!

They have a huge selection of wonderful imported cheeses. They can get 300 different kinds from all over the world. There were some there for the tasting. They also offer to make up large or small platters for your next party.

It is quite an interesting store to see so the next time you are at Gulf Coast Town Center, check it out. It is right behind Borders bookstore.

55 Degrees... Fine Wine and Cheese

There is nothing like a fine glass of wine with a bit of imported cheese!
