The Savvy Shopper

I found a nice collection of weather resistant outdoor furniture this week at Pier One. Start with an outdoor rug to anchor the furniture down and make a cozy seating area. The outdoor reversible rug can be flipped over for a reverse color combination...easy care, simply hose off and air-dry, size 5x8 is on sale for $125.
For easy outdoor living there is the "Sabino" collection on an aluminum frame that is UV-resistant synthetic wicker. This collection comes with the cushion of Sunbrella fabric. Sofa and cushion just $599, armchair and cushion $279 and the matching ottoman only $199. It is handy to have an ottoman, if you are not using it to relax with your feet up is can be used for extra seating or as a table with a tray on it. Be sure to look for the Sunbrella label wherever you are shopping for outdoor furniture as it will withstand our extreme heat....mine is 18 years old and still looks new!!
Also there was an 8' stripe, market umbrella in fade-resistant Sunbrella at $139. There is a whole array of colorful umbrellas to choose from, as well as cushions and pillows, $16 to $20. Get in the mood with the hanging votive lanterns at $7.80 each. A neat rattan tray that is moisture resistant, to sit on that ottoman, is only $25.
Happy hour starts now...bright colored polypropylene drink ware, tumblers or goblets, sets of 4 at $3.25. Party plates at $2.27 that have a cut-out to hold the goblets so you can enjoy those party snacks with ease. Cheers!
Back inside, urban grass window panels 75% off. Great floor pots, hurricane candle holders $18. I loved the Canyon stripe dinnerware in such fun colors, sure to brighten up anyone's table -- square dinner plate $10, salad plate $6, bowl or mug, each $8.
Another favorite was an iron branch sculpture that holds six pillar candles for $55.
Mirror, mirror on the wall...a cool round mirror for $150, or do something different on the walls. There were rattan wall panels at $60. Cube wall decor or geometric print wall decor for $100. Metal wall squares $30. Fun art work that is a Pier One exclusive run $250 to $350. Mirrored wall candle sconces for $12. The ideas are unlimited.
Summer prices sizzle at Pier One!
Located in Coconut Point on Mediterranean Drive.
