It is oh so nice to live in Florida...and what a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon than strolling through beautiful Coconut Point shopping village. When you go you must stop in my favorite store Z Gallerie on Fashion Drive.

What a fabulous store this is! It has 10,000 square feet -- 8,500 in which to shop. On Monday's they receive new stock and it is like Christmas with boxes everywhere and a surprise in every one. So it is best to go on Tuesday or later. They unpack very fast!

The Gallerie is getting all new "stuff" for spring now. The sales people are all very friendly and helpful. The man in charge of setting up the displays is a genius -- always changing things around to fit in with the new merchandise. And the manager John Daniel is there to help in any way.

In the Gallerie you will find everything and anything from furniture, bedding, dishes, glassware, pictures and all kinds of things you simply can't live without. It just looks expensive -- the prices are great!

You need to pick up a few things to spruce up for spring. Just a couple items can add a punch to any room by adding COLOR,COLOR,COLOR! You will find beautiful vases in persimmon, blue, white, red, silver, and black starting as low as $19.98.

Also find fab floral stems and dried stems of every shape and form to put in your new vase from $6.95.

I saw a reflection fountain for just $99 and a bubbling Wasabi fountain for $199. The smaller version table top fountains are a mere $24.95.

Also candles of every color to fit in with your decor. Don't overlook the decorator mirrors, some fun zebra accents, shell pieces, and stunning cut glass candle holders, the list goes on...Get out there!

One display is a dynamite oriental red, from dishes to a large piece of red coral for $34.95.

A new display they were setting up is eye catching black and white, another is all in blue and white. As you come in the front door you get a "Pow" of bright orange! It is very easy to become your own decorator because they have everything put together for you. It ALL works and is dynamite!

Here is a small sample of must haves: Place mats that look like giant philodendron leaves, $4.95. Crystallized quartz candle holders $9.95...can you imagine how they would look lit up? Unusual martini glasses from $5.95. A set of three faux alligator trays $29.95. Tee time 11-piece bar set comes packaged in it's own mini golf bag $49.95. Huge green leaves from $12.95. Awesome duvet sets king $169.95.

If you don't find what you want today....go back! There is always something new and exciting coming out of a box.

I think you will agree...it's my favorite place to shop for accessories.
