I went into the Cookies by Design shop this week and what a store it is!! It is a great alternative to sending flowers AND you can eat them!!! This is the original cookie boutique that has been in business for over 20 years!!

Today more than 230 Cookies by Design shoppes offer unique cookie bouquets, gourmet gifts and other gifts. They bake the cookies in their shop and hand deliver the creative bouquets fresh to your door. They personalize them if you like and can be customized to the size that fits your occasion and budget. They specialize in corporate logos. While I was there they had a basket made for Soma full of cookies of all underwear and one for White House/Black Market that was full of all black and white dresses, high heels and bustiers...Priceless!

The creations are so cute you won't be able to choose! For Happy Birthday there were Frogs and Flowers, an Old Buzzard Basket, Confetti and Candles, a basket of Birthday Smiles. Or how about Another Year, Another Chin!! The cookies say Hello Face lift, Another Year, Another Chin!! There are so many birthday cookies to choose from Minnie and Mickey to Older Than Dirt, or Oh No Another Gray Hair, full of bunnies!

The get well soon cookies are just as cute, a bee hive full of bees that says You'll Bee Okay. Speedy Recovery full of turtles, or a basket of all sports balls that says Bounce Back Soon! How about Cookies are Good Medicine! My friend Marion would approve of that one!!

The baby baskets were adorable. Of course a Bouncin' Baby Boy and a Sweet Baby Girl. Then there are Star Arrival and Baby Blocks. Cute as can be!!

The Thank You baskets are adorable, one full of all kinds of clocks that says Thanks for Your Time or the one I liked was Thanks a Bunch, a wine bottle and bunches of grapes.

They have cookies for just about any occasion you can think of Good Wishes, School and Sports, Home Sweet Home, Business Baskets, Congratulations, Love, Wedding and Anniversaries. I thought the basket of all kinds of puppies that said I Wuf You was darling!

They make baskets for every season and every holiday. There is a variety of sizes, prices and containers for any occasion.

What a concept! Yummy!
