I found a wild store in Miromar Outlets!! You know how you come to a stop light and the car next to you has music blaring and the car is jumping up-n-down? Well, that's how I felt when I went into Ecko. The music was really loud and I guess you would call it hip-hop! The kids working there were really nice and when I told them I was going to write a little about the store, I said you have to help me! This was all new to me!

Mark Ecko started all this in New York by making graffiti T-shirts and selling them in the subway. Well, I guess they caught on as he has stores everywhere and the kids said any teen and up would recognize the store name right away.

The first thing I saw when I walked in was a lot of tees with skulls on them and they weren't for Halloween! The kids told me it was an Urban, Hip-Hop kind of store. The mascot is a rhino. They said the Mark Ecko collection is more urban, for a more grown up look, doesn't have all the graffiti and a better fit. I did see a LOT of shirts with the graffiti on them and I guess they fly out the door. Our grandson in Canada has his own band and would think he died and went to heaven with this store!!

The salespeople told me every month the styles change and they always have a big clearance sale going on. They keep marking things down until they are gone. The store is 75% for guys and 25% for the gals. That's a switch---huh?

I did see cargo pants and at the back of the store I saw more conservative shirts in strips and solids. The baggy jeans and straight fitted jeans.Skate boarders would love it! I also noticed they sell caps.

They said they had business attire.....but I wonder ...what kind of business? I was really out of my element!

There was a case with watches with LOTS of BLING! The kids said they are best sellers. Also found were dog tag watches and I'm not sure what it means but they called it a turntable watch that is worn around the neck. I guess they can't keep them in stock.

So all you teens and a 20 something's....now you know where to shop!
