A.C. Moore, a new arts and craft store, is having it's grand opening.

It is a very large, well organized and bright store with arts and crafts and more! The aisles are wide and well-marked: paper craft tools, cutting and punches. Stickers and letters, scrap books, scrap book papers and embellishments.

Beads and jewelry making supplies. Stamps and supplies, 40% off rubber stamps, 30% off ink pads. Card making and stencils. Kids crafts, puzzles, books and games.

Things for doll making, doll clothes, shoes, glasses and sweaters. Candy making supplies, and cake making with a large choice of theme cake pans. A wedding aisle with tulle, and flowers. And there is a large art department with all kinds of paints, brushes, easels, everything an artist would need. A great art center plus, an art table for all your needs, $199. I spoke with Suzanne the art merchandiser and art teacher. She was quite excited about her beginners class on Nov.28 where she will be painting a snowman on a wooden sled 6:30-8:30, $10. plus supplies. I saw her sample, it was very cute! There are a lot of classes offered, on Nov. 7 beginners painting glass 6:30-8:30. $10. plus supplies. Some of the other classes are rubber stamps, holiday cards, scrap booking, oil painting, drawing/coloring portraits, beading, and holiday workshops. The classes run from $10-15. and run two hours. Sounds to be a lot of fun! You can pick up a craft class calendar at the check out.
