EYE CANDY ...
LE CREUSET!! COOKWARE FROM FRANCE!
This was such a fun store to visit and the sales ladies were delightful! It is a mass of color as soon as you walk in the door. It is truly different, high quality cookware from France.
You can cook with it on top of the stove, in the oven up to 425 degrees or on the grill. The fun part is color, color, color!!
It is all arranged according to color with flame being the original color made in Northern France more than 75 years ago. The newest color is Kiwi ... a great lime green. The other colors are red, blue, citrus, white, black, cactus and indigo.
It is like looking at an artist's palate. The front of the store is all first quality and in the back you will find seconds ... both have a lifetime warranty.
Then there is a whole array of stoneware that comes in all the above colors. You can cook in the microwave or oven but not on the stove top. Also in those yummy colors are salt and pepper grinders, pastry brushes, a whole selection of silicone spatulas.
You can take the spatula off the wooden handle and put it in the dishwasher. They won't melt, curl, discolor or burn. And they all co-ordinate!
Even the wonderful tea pots and kettles ... your whole kitchen would be co-coordinated!
The sales ladies, Millie and Miranda pointed out they carry the Thiers Issard knife collection made in the Sabatier section of France. Excellent knives any chef would love!
Also found was Riedel stemware in water, whiskey, long or martini glasses.
I found a great screw pull wine opener for $79.99 that even I could use it was so easy and it will put the corks back in the bottle if you don't drink all the wine ... not at my house!!
They sell a book that tells all about the cookware and how to use each piece. Complete with recipes.
The more you buy, the bigger the discount and you can mix and match to suit you.
Also found, silicone bake wear, buy one get one free! Wooden spoons made by the Amish. Gadgets galore all in high quality stainless steel. Lots of seafood items and a whole array of cookbooks.
If you like to cook, as I do, this is a store you must visit and Millie and Miranda had a whole wealth of information. Tell them hello from me ... The Savvy Shopper! Bon Appetite!
