There is a pajama party going on!!

That's right a pajama party at Scrapbooks Etc., on Bonita Beach Road on Sept. 22.

Yep, you read it right. They are having a pajama party, so wear your favorite jammies, bring all your stuff and spread out.

You will work with your photos making a fun scrapbook at the store all day! They even provide dinner so bring a friend or make a friend -- it goes from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the cost of $15 (that includes dinner!) Make reservations as they book up fast.

Just bring your photos, they have all the supplies you will need, card stock in all colors, every kind of sticker imaginable, ribbons, rub-ons, and embellishments. Transparent stickers, word rub-ons, party layouts, Disney packs. The large package runs $8.99 and $9.99, small packages are $3.99, plus all the tools and equipment you will need.

What a fun thing to do and you have a neat scrapbook to take home with years of memories.

Chris who works there was explaining all the classes going on. There are classes to learn how to make a birthday explosion box ... remove the lid and the box falls open to reveal layers of colorful paper and movable flaps that house quotes and places for up to 16 photographs. How cool is that?

They teach classes where they put a project together and teach you how to make it, then there are crops ... I didn't know what a crop was. Chris explained usually 10-15 people sign up and you bring your own supplies and do your own thing. It is only $7 to rent the space and Janet and Colleen will help you put your book together.

Janet, the owner is having a birthday on Sept. 13 and is celebrating with a free make and take project for you from 10:00 to 3:00. Happy Birthday Janet!

They have scrapbooks for all occasions with different themes from babies, sports, vacations and families. I was amazed at all the supplies they carry! So get on down there and have fun! Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, except for special class nights which are noted on their events roster, which you can pick up in the store.
