This country store in Cape Coral holds many surprises!

Browse among primitive and homespun country hand-made dolls, hand-painted folk art, primitive wood crafts, hand-crafted items, primitive functional wood for the home, antiques, architectural finds, old windows, shutters and more!

Jeanette was working the day I was in, she is the owner's sister and very knowledgeable of everything in the store. She said they have been in business 16 years. There are many different items to browse among, reproductions of early American lighting as seen in Williamsburg, furniture, hutches and upholstered pieces. Enamel body pitchers from France. Yellow stone ware that Martha Stewart favors. Old school desks, old quilts and stone jugs in all sizes. Dainty antique tea cups and saucers for all you collectors. An unusual goat cart, I don't know what you would use it for but they have one!

You will find Treen Ware, reproductions of bowls and buckets in wood. Custom braided rugs and chair pads. There was a bowl made of wax with a soy candle inside--a candle within a candle. Old earthen bowls and grape vine wreaths and willow wreaths. It is quite a large store that goes from room to room with a large variety of inventory.

Jeanette said they carry a full line of Yankee candles, more than the Yankee candle store! There was a beautiful selection of heritage lace table runners and doilies. Cute little individual lamp shades, even a custom made fireplace! Hard to find items like dusk to dawn window lights.

There were items that I wouldn't expect to find in a country store, Bingham jewelry and watches. The watches were $29.95. Also carried cell phone holders and wallets. It looks like Brighton but more affordable. Another surprise was the line of Dooney and Bourke purses, wallets and umbrellas. They can order if you don't see the style you like.
