Have some extra Christmas money to spend? I visited Kay's this week where you will get lots of flash for your cash!

A great place to spend some of that extra cash and look very stylish doing it! I spoke with Rosemarie who gave me all kinds of information. Like, the mother who started this business nearly 40 years ago and is now 86 years of age! She is still active in the business ... Imagine! My hat goes off to her!

The daughter and grandson are taking over now and doing a good job with four locations in Naples, including this one that has been here for two years last month. She said the store on Marco Island is huge! They are very active doing fashion shows, doing two or three a week. Now that's a lot!

Their shop is a little dressier than most. About 30 percent of their merchandise comes from Joseph Ribkoff from Canada. He features a lot of black and white. Also this winter you will see a lot of brown and yes, those animal prints don't seem to die off ... they are as popular as ever.

There is lots of glitz and glitter with sparkle and sequins and they DO wear them with their jeans. Their top selling slacks that fit oh-so-well come in twenty three colors ... that's right 23!

Kay's carries evening wear featuring many long gowns for mother or grandmother of the bride and they sell a lot for second marriages. The gowns range from $200-600.

Jackets are hot! With this weather we could use a couple of those right now. I found them in the popular swing jackets or ribbon jackets. Bright print jackets---the brighter---the better! Also metallic jackets in silver and bronze fly out the door. You can wear them with anything. I saw a smart outfit of gray jeans with a light gray and dark gray print jean jacket.

Kay's also carries Mary Francis handbags. She has advanced accessory design by blending elegance with whimsy to create a style that is unmistakably her own. The artful handbags are characterized by fun and luxurious fabrics, beadwork, trims and stones. They are individually hand crafted. Regularly seen on the arms of Jennifer Aniston, Teri Hatcher, Kate Hudson, Jessica Simpson and Jeanne Vogt! I got one from my son for Christmas! It is very special, I LOVE it!!

If you are looking for a hat ... this is one of the few stores that still carries hats. I must tell you ... their sizes range from 4 to 3X ... so they have everyone covered!
