Laura Valdivia has owned Creative Baskets since 1989. She designs and delivers distinctive baskets for any occasion. Her little shop is tucked away in the heart of Fort Myers in the Pewett Center. She also travels across the country, attending wine, gift and gourmet food shows to personally choose a tantalizing array of products for you. She has her shop set up in sections to make shopping easy. You can purchase individual items or have Laura or her staff create a customized basket to make any occasion special. I loved the beach-time and the garden baskets.

She has a wedding boutique, for weddings, wedding showers or honeymoons. A baby section for the new baby or baby showers. Whether the occasion is a birthday, anniversary, get well. thank you, thinking of you, new home, housewarming, bon voyage, bereavement, home from the hospital ... you name it, she can create it!

She has a large selection of fine wines, chocolate truffles, exquisite toiletries, fresh fruits, specialty pastas, teas and jams. Cheeses of many choices. She gets her tea and pancake mix from Maine. Some of her specialty items are locally made like the hazelnut-stuffed olives or those stuffed with blue cheese. There are gourmet coffees and Biscotti's cookies. Keepsake baby gifts and gentlemen's gifts.

Whatever she puts into a basket, she wants it to be something you can use. There are fresh flowers, fine cigars, picture frames, jazz and classical CDs, books ... just about anything you can think of that can be put into a basket.
