The Savvy Shopper

Make massage part of your wellness plan....

Posted May 30, 2008

Iris is the manager of Massage Envy and gave me a tour of her establishment.

There are twelve, clean, relaxing massage rooms and a couples room. It is a bit different than most spas as you can join the spa. Monthly membership dues are $59. Membership lets you enjoy all the benefits of massage therapy when it is most convenient. As a member you receive a customized one-hour session with a professional Massage therapist every month and any additional visits throughout the month at a reduced price of $39.

Their Massage Wellness Membership also includes discounts on retail products, and family add-on discounts so spouses and other family members can take advantage of the special member discount rate.

Some of the benefits of massage therapy are: relieves stress, encourages relaxation, improves circulation, lowers blood pressure and relaxes muscles.

Their professionals customize each massage session, paying extra attention to your specific needs.

They are offering a one hour introductory massage session at $39. That consists of a 50 minute massage and time for consultation and dressing. So you can relax and enjoy your first therapeutic visit at their introductory rate. If you don't want to join you can go any time for an additional massage for $78. But if you enjoy a regular massage it makes sence to join for the small membership fee!

Because they are a national franchise they are able to offer reasonably priced memberships and additional massage sessions for a fraction of what you find elsewhere.

They are open weeknights and weekends to accommodate today's busy lifestyles.

Massage Envy is located at 15880 Summerlin Rd. Suite 105 in Summerlin Crossing in Fort Myers.
