It's not too early to plan...
For The Bride.

Here comes the bride! What a joyous occasion to plan. Are you planning a winter wedding? Now is the time to start thinking about it as it takes three months to order a gown once you have decided on one. There is a lot of planning going into a wedding no matter how simple or elaborate. I think I can help you out here. I stumbled across what I think is the best place to shop for THE dress. When my daughter married we looked from here to Boston for the perfect gown. I went into For The Bride and talked at some length with the owner Wendy Bennett. She knows what she is doing as she has been in the business of making beautiful brides for 15 years and has had this shop for nine years.
She has over 200 bridal gowns in stock to choose from. You go in and try them on, choose the perfect one, she orders it in your size or if you get lucky and can find one off the rack you will get a deep discount. Wendy said to plan $200. in your bridal budget for alterations. They do the alterations right there on the premises, all done by a very professional seamstress. She stresses they are hard to find these days because the young people really aren't into sewing. Her people come with a lot of experience. Also you can have shoes dyed to any color you wish right on site.
She specializes in outdoor beach weddings and carries the lighter weight gowns. There is every style from a simple
strapless chiffon to one in satin or taffeta with a little bead work or touch of rhinestones. Halter style or the traditional gown. They are all beautiful and what a selection! The gowns in For The Bride are exclusive to Wendy's store from Tampa to Miami. When her bride walks out no one has ever seen that dress before. It's not about looking like everyone else, it's about being unique. Especially on your big day! Her gowns sell from $200. to $2000. She has some that were $800. now on sale for $300. She also said you can get a nice gown off the rack for $89. for the bride on a budget. There is something for any budget. Long or tea length or a long gown can be cut into tea length. This store is one stop shopping for the bride, mother of the bride and bridesmaids. There is a big selection of shoes, bridal jewelry, garters, tiaras, veils, hand bags and hair pieces. Even hankies that are embroidered for mother and grandmother. Also the magic sense silicone bra with a self adhesive system.
In the adjoining show room find the largest selection of dresses and gowns for your bridesmaids and mother of the bride. There is every color, fabric and style I have ever seen in one place. Find a selection of social dresses, from simple chiffon, strapless dresses for the beach to formal gowns. Get this...pick out a dress you like, it doesn't matter what color, you are going for the style and it can be ordered it in any color you want! Almost every dress can be ordered in 40 different dye lots! The sky's the limit! She can make it so unique, tell her what you want to spend, and the colors you want to use, she can do it! There are dresses from $95. and up. She just bought a new line of soft florals in knee length that will sell for around $100. for the bridesmaids and these are dresses they can wear again. I saw a simple apple green taffeta, knee length with a flared skirt with tiny straps that lace up the back, adorable for just $95.
