Ooh La La....
La..La La..La..La..La!

Get ready ladies for an up scale shopathon! Ooh La La is an upscale resale shop with all the tempting digs of a high end specialty store...only slightly used and at bargain prices! What could get better than that! They carry consignment, better labels and designer labels on apparel, shoes, handbags and jewelry. They have been busy since they opened as all you divas are finding the shop. They opened July 1st so it is a new outing for you and a fun place to shop.
The shop is well organized with everything sorted on racks of jackets, slacks, skirts, shorts, capris and tops. Makes it easy to shop and to co-ordinate an outfit. There is a good selection of just about everything.
Jim Bryant, the owner had the great foresight to open an upscale shop like this with designer duds. Karen Boterus was working the day I was in. She said the most popular and best seller is anything from Chico's. Other sought after brands carried here are Doncaster, Kasper, White House, Black Market, Ann Taylor, Liz , Eileen Fisher, and Talbot. They have them all. They are working on building a selection of better golf wear and have started a collection of higher end evening wear for that special occasion.
If you are looking for a handbag and are looking for the real thing at a discount price they have them all. There was an older version from the 80's of a Louis Vitton that was well loved but in good condition at $93. LV's are classic and never seem to go out of style. Another newer Louis Vitton bag that would sell for around $1700 was priced at $500. Quite a bargain for those of you who want the very best! There were tons of bags to choose from. I saw bags by Dooney & Bourke, Brighton, Coach, Gucci and Channel. There were some sweet little evening bags in different colors and different fabrics from beaded, to shells and embellished fabric bags. The most unusual were new, from "Because We Can", wild child bags that are hand made and usually individually signed by the artist in vibrant colors. Some were a zebra fabric and decorated with bright big flowers and beads or some with feathers. They ranged from $80 to $90 and were real attention getters. I collect Mary Francis bags but these would be my second choice. I loved them! There were also some wonderful vintage bags.
You will find some very unique and different jewelry here. Huge bracelets and unusual necklaces. One necklace was handcrafted by a local artist that took a year to put together and has won awards for the outstanding pieces. This one was made of Turquoise, Amethyst, fresh water pearls, glass and seed beads, simply fabulous! $395.
They carry a whole line of fashion sun glasses that are new and pashimas in every color to complete your outfit.
One consigner is launching a new bathing suit line and has a few samples here but look for more to arrive.
I saw a sexy black cocktail dress with silver dragonflies embroidered at the neckline and hem line just $88.75. There were lots of cocktail jackets to go with your evening wear.
Find a huge selection of shoes from sandals to killer pumps. Some were brand new, others were just slightly used. There was a big sale going on when I was in...all shoes were 50% off except the designer shoes. You could find some real bargains. The sales were going on through out the store.
I found a nice selection of dresses. Some really cute, cool sundresses. The teens that shop here are usually 16 - 17. They will find several things they like, especially the designer jeans that are much, much more in the boutiques or department stores.
Most things are on consignment but they do feature some new items as well. Everything is in pristine condition.
Go have a look and get your new designer outfit from shoes to jewelry for pennies and look like a million! You'll love it! A shopaholic's dream!
