Home Decor,
Fine Art & More!

I met with Terri Grace the store manager and buyer for the new Art Etc. store that moved in where Picture Warehouse was. Although the layout looks pretty much the same she said it is a completely different store. They will do special orders and are always getting something new in.
Decor for the home includes some unusual lamps and art deco pieces. Huge floor candle holders in two sizes, plant stands of different varieties. The Doodles Hudson lanterns were very different wire creations of different shapes and sizes with a battery operated candle, they hang from a frame. I liked the lazy little elephants, they sit on the edge of a shelf and have their legs dangling over the edge. Cute!
For the modern home find a selection of contempory chairs that not only look good but are comfy too. The hanging glass cones will fit into just about any decor and are just $20. There are ceramic pots also in all sizes some with designs and some au natural. Also I found a large metal floor pot at $77. The carved wood plaques were attractive, small ones $20. and the large 24 x 24 at $70. For something different, the ultra suede plaques had branches embroidered on them, $40. in neutral colors.
I loved the big bunches of curly willow to use as accent floor pieces. Ceramic green leaf plates come in two sizes and can be hung as an attractive pair.
This store has just the answer for a space that you are trying to accent, from just a small space to a very large space. The people who work here are very helpful in trying to put something together for you. There are all kinds of florals, decorative plates, and interesting accent pieces of all sorts. I found a great set of zebra boxes on a metal tray, set of three $60.
Find many things to fill a vacant wall space from large wall sculptures to leaves of all sorts. The wire boxes with three votive candles were quite nice, and the majestic sculptures by Hen Feathers were outstanding, $90.
You will find a Florida section with everything painted up in bright tropical colors and hand painted furniture. Metal sculptures and art.
There are butcher block topped islands for a lot of extra storage in the kitchen. Several styles to choose from. TV consoles, accent chests from a small piece for a foyer to larger pieces for living or family room with storage, benches and handsome nesting tables, one set had wire leaves under the glass tops. Most unusual. Stacking trunks, chairs and lounges.
If you are in the market for sconces this is the place. There is a large variety, all so pretty you won't know which ones to choose. And Mirrors...oh man! Do they have mirrors! In just about every description from floor mirrors to beautiful decorative mirrors in all sizes. There is a whole room of them.
Find the art displayed much like the old store had it. It is arranged in groups so you can find what you are looking for much faster. From floral paintings, a section of maps, and for our locale, the popular golf pictures and beach scenes, boating and sea life. Wonderful tropical paintings take up a whole row. There is a very nice selection.
The prices are good so you can pick up a small hostess gift or go for that outstanding piece of art. You will find something for everyone. I was quite impressed with all the wonderful tchotchkes to fill your home. I know I will be going back!
Art Etc. is located at 25987 Tamiami Trail S. in Bonita Springs.
