Pandora's Box..
Like shopping in a garden!

Tucked away on Sanibel Island is the area's most diverse shopping center, strolling along the boardwalks is like shopping in a garden. It offers the most interesting shops, one of them is Pandora's Box.
This enchanting store has so many things to offer, you don't know where to start. If you are looking for an unusual gift or a treasured gift this would be where to go. They have inexpensive whimsical things, perfect for a hostess gift to expensive pieces of art. The hand made glass section will blow you away! Many pieces to choose from in all sizes and the colors are indescribable! A great combination that anyone would be proud to display!
I love the cases of tiny fairies, here you will find all sorts of them with attention to the smallest detail. Just precious! There was a sweet little fairy with a tiny sea urchin sitting on a moss stool, great for collectors.
There are many items with an island theme for wonderful souvenirs from greeting cards to boxes of sea glass. The sea glass works well surrounding a candle with the light gleaming off the glass. Seaside Sensations potpourri takes you back to the island, ummmm! It smells so good! A large bag, $18. Something else that makes you go ummmm! The aroma beads, small bag $3.50 and large bag $6.
For the unusual, Hot Flops with bubbles and fish, $39. Or the Murray's Law napkins that were so funny. I liked the ones that said "At our age swimming is dangerous, life guards don't try as hard!" Perfect for a beach home.
For entertaining, I found party picks and straws that were different and would make the cocktail hour fun! Four for $12. The silver cheese knives that looked like mice were darling at $8. and $15. After a few drinks, this would get some laughs! There were paper cups called pick your nose, when you take a drink the printed nose shows up on your face. How funny is that! $13 for 24 cups.
Pandora's Box carries some unusual felt purses all handmade at $55. and $69. I collect Mary Francis purses, they are getting hard to find but Wa-Lah! There they were in a pretty arrangement in a glass display case.
An adorable collection of unusual tea pots caught my eye. There was quite an array of delicate ceramics. The bold color contempory glass was outstanding, priced from $275. to $700.
There are cases of unique jewelry not found elsewhere including hard to find vintage jewelry.
One section had framed sayings and Gel Gems window clings, my granddaughter loves those things but you will find them everywhere! A darling baby department and even a Christmas department all year round. Just for fun, try out the hilarious wild eye glass holders.
Striped canvas swinging chairs looked very comfy, perfect spot for reading a good book. On the screened lanai find garden balls in a wide assortment of sizes and colors. a wide variety of wind chimes and birdhouses and soothing fountains. All sorts of interesting things for you yard.
