THE SAVVY SHOPPER
Two years....And still going strong!
This week I discovered Three Crafty Ladies.
I have been writing this column over two years and think I have hit every store from here to Timbucktwo!! I have to widen my horizons, so crossed the bridge to Sanibel Island this week to scout out some interesting stores. I found there are plenty and all with different offerings.
This store caught my eye. I wondered just how crafty they were. let me tell you these ladies have it together, so I am calling all crafters! This is the store for you. Three Crafty Ladies has all kinds of supplies for all the projects you are working on. This little store in the Heart of the Islands Plaza is crammed with every supply for all kinds of creative ideas.
They carry art supplies, paint, and brushes, fabric paints in all colors. Things for quilting, fabrics in all colors and prints, kits for quilting, and patterns. Supplies for cross stitching, a large selection of floss and sewing supplies.Embellishments, lace, ribbons, decorative yarns and trims of all sorts. Shellcraft supplies, boxes of shells and beads.
Rubber stamps in all sizes with a large variety to choose from and stamping supplies. Washable stamps for kids. They love to be involved!
Tons of stuff for scrapbooking. Find lots of stickers. Scrapbooking is really fun and you can get the whole family involved. What better way to keep those precious family photos?
Clay for your baking projects in a rainbow of colors. You will find just about anything you are looking for to complete or start a new project in here.
Besides the crafty things, I found note cards with envelopes, picture frames, magnetic book marks with island designs. Perfect for your read on the way home from your vacation. There were guides for fishing and guides to indentify all the varieties of birds found on the island.
The kids can be kept busy as there are some creative things just for them. Nature and activity books and a rack of tiny books for tiny hands. Puzzles for that rainy day.
The crafty ladies who work here were very friendly and helpful. As I was about to leave a group of children came in and the ladies were helping them select beads to make their very own bracelets, just $2. What a lot of fun.
Be sure to check this out when you are on the island. It is chuck full of all kinds of crafty things to get your creative juices flowing!
