Shopping on the Avenue...
Naples that is.

I love going to Naples and shopping on 5th Avenue South, strolling past the oh-so-chichi Inn of Naples to the wonderful artsy boutiques and the side walk bistros. Each of the boutiques has something different to offer. I absolutely love Peach Tree Designs. They carry fine gifts, furniture, decorative accessories and offer interior design service.
I spoke to Stacie Carroll who opened this store. She said it is a family business that was started 30 years ago in Cape Cod by her mom. Twelve years ago Stacie came to Naples to open this store, she came on a two year plan and is still here! She said it is very successful. It is a very hands on business, her dad does the deliveries. They go to all the major shows and strive to have things that are different that you can't find else where.
Besides awesome accessories they carry unusual jewelry and purses. I loved the zebra accessories, Stacie said animal prints are timeless. There were coastal items to choose from that are popular with the tourists. From silver star fish with different textures to small gift items like the sea urchins for just $3. that make a good souvenir from Florida. The silver squid candle holders were outstanding at $219. a pair.
Aqua recycled glass bowls were reflecting the light from the window with their textured surface and taking center stage. The small bowl sells for $18. with many sizes all the way up to the big bowl for $68. Aqua is a popular color to decorate with this year. You will see it scattered throughout the store as accent pieces. The toney silver leaf trays were long and skinny in different leaf designs and sold for $25. and $32.
The unusual lamps are a hit with most customers, there is a wide variety and they sell a lot of them. The store is very eclectic with many fun things to mix and match. You will find unusual vases, candles, a collection of bookends and funky hand made door stops made in Cape Cod for $38. There were interesting toss pillows that you won't see elsewhere. A beautiful, lacy silver coral sculpture at $324. The tribal men statues in wood and silver were tall and skinny, very interesting in different poses at $58. each.
All the furniture pieces found throughout the store, and accent pieces are sure to get oohs and aahs! The beautiful Hayden chairs in their timeless design caught my eye. They would fit in anyone's decor in dark wood with beige, linen look upholstery.
The big bowl of "real looking" cherries sat near the register and go flying out the door at twenty five cents each! They can't keep them in stock. I bought some for a color accent in my kitchen.
There is something for everyone in Peach Tree Designs. They offer quality, reasonable prices and a huge variety of absolutely fabulous items for your home!
