You might be caught on my camera!

I decided since I take so many pictures, thousands of my grandchildren and quite a lot for the Banner with my Hot Buys and Caught Shopping sections, that it might be a good idea to buy a new camera. Like anything else, there are many, many to choose from. It really does get confusing. My son thinks Canon is the best while my friend Larry swears by Nikon. While looking at both I decided I would check out the Nikon Coolpix....do you think the fact that it comes in so many pretty colors had anything to do with it? Maybe!
Have you shopped around for any one item that can easily be found just about anywhere? Each store claims, Great Deals, or this week's Hot Buy, Compare! Closeout or the best ...Nobody Beats Our Prices! After some checking, Nobody Beats Our Prices are, Hello! the same price as the next guy!
I narrowed it down to the Coolpix S220. The very best buy was when I was on St. Maarten a couple weeks ago where the shopping was great and you pay no tax! And as you walk out the door they shout out even a lower price. But did I buy one? Duh! No I didn't! The next best place I found was in Miami at Brands Smart. So I picked one out and was told they were out of stock, I chose another...out of stock...after the third choice and I was told out of stock I gave up. What's the point of having them on display if you don't have any to sell?
I got all excited when I found one at Best Buy for $120. but then discovered it has double AA batteries and I don't want to deal with that it was the L20 model.
I found they were pretty much priced the same all over and ended up buying one from Costco for $140. The man who helped me has one and swears by it, told me I could use it 90 days and if I found something better, could return it. It can't get better than that. It came with a memory card, case and rechargeable battery. You can shoot close to 200 pictures on one charge and it is pretty in plum!!
Now I found the S230 that has the same features except a 3" touch panel LCD screen with a paint function to personalize images by writing on screen with stylus. The price is the same, $180. at Target and Office Depot except Target says it was regular at $230. and Office Depot claims it is a $280. value saving you $100. instantly! Now I am thinking is it worth the difference of $40. to get the touch screen? Hmmmm. Maybe!! But why the difference in regular price in both stores?
Cameras are hard to buy, it's just like looking for a car and I hate that chore! You have to compare apples to apples or you are really confused. After you made your choice, why do you keep looking!! Don't you do that with just about everything? Cars, TV's. You keep looking to see if there is a better deal out there...what's the point...you already bought it!!! It's just the nature of us! Everybody loves a bargin!
So I'm all set with a new camera----SMILE you never know where I am going to be to snap your picture for Caught Shopping!
