High School Graduates, thinking of college? Consider Merrimack College!

I recently wrote a blog that got the attention of Mr. Ryan Irwin, Sr. Advancement Officer of Merrimack College in North Andover, Ma. He wrote to me saying he was pleased to see that my profile reflected that I earned my BBA from Merrimack College and thanked me for the publicity afforded to Merrimack College. It appears that the Naples Daily News has a long reach.

He went on to advise me of the achievements at Merrimack College in the years since I graduated in 1969. Among the highlights were that Merrimack College was:
• Ranked 8th best in the Regional Colleges in the North, by US News & World Report
• It jumped in ranking from 524 to 274 in Forbes Best Colleges report.
• In athletics it has achieved success in tennis, field hockey, lacrosse, and the Merrimack College hockey team was rated number 1 in the nation.

Wow! While I always knew I had received an outstanding education from Merrimack College, it has achieved success that continues to make me very proud to be an alumnus.

At this time of the year many high school graduates have applied to colleges for admission. May I suggest that Merrimack is a worthy college for any high school graduate seeking an outstanding athletic and academic program? My daughter, Pam, also graduated from Merrimack and co-captained the women's tennis team while there.
