The NFL Experience opens tomorrow at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa from 3-9 p.m. for the general public. It's open again on Friday from 3-10 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
What's the Experience? Basically, it's a football-themed carnival. There are throwing, punting, kicking, throwing and running tests, plus a competition to try and score a touchdown while being attached to a bungee cord.
There's also a Kids Zone for children ages 3-10, a card show with autographs from around 50 total current and former NFL players (staggered appearances each day), and items on-loan from the Pro Football Hall of Fame Throwbacks Exhibit.
If you can't get Super Bowl tickets but just want to get in on the Super Bowl experience -- and hey, it's only 2-3 hours away -- the NFL Experience is a great chance to do that. Tickets are $18.50 for adults and $12.50 for kids aged 12 and under. Visit superbowl.com for more information ... and maybe I'll see you at The Quarterback Challenge.
