If you’re reading this from the northlands of Sanibel-Captiva and you have a hankering from seafood, beginning April 16th Andy’s Island Seafood of Matlacha will be bringing its Mobile Market to The Island Store on Captiva, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. each Wednesday, at the corner of Andy Rosse Lane and Captiva Drive.
This is from a press release that landed in my inbox earlier this week:

Andy’s turquoise truck is a familiar site at local farmers’ markets and other locations throughout Southwest Florida and is now bringing its seafood to island residents giving them the opportunity to purchase fresh wild Gulf shrimp, grouper & snapper fillets, Pine Island clams, dry-packed sea scallops and other high quality seafood. A complete list of products is available at The Island Store or by visiting www.andysislandseafood.
Orders can be placed ahead of time by calling 239.472.2374 or filling out an order form at The Island Store which is open daily 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Andy’s Island Seafood is located in the heart of the historic fishing village of Matlacha, a location that offers another type of “island experience.”
