My credentials

Tummy Troubles by Dr. Raymond Phillips

I graduated from Princeton University in 1977. I was able to afford this education because of a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship.
I attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and graduated in 1981.
Not wishing to incur additional obligation to the Army I took out loans to pay for tuition.
Following graduation I received my post-graduate education in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University, completing my residency in 1984 and then staying an additional year as Chief Resident.
I went on active duty in the Army in 1985 and was assigned to Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri for two years as an Internist. My training as a gastroenterologist was completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC from 1987 to 1989. I was on staff at Walter Reed until 1991.
I have been in private practice in gastroenterology in Naples, FL since 1991 as a member of Gastroenterology Group of Naples.
