Europe first! Or maybe Japan. Time will tell.

What kind of hopes are that. If Europe failed, or Japan or America or China or South-Africa maybe Greece, we all have a problem. I mean with ALL, the world. In YOUR small thinking world you have no imaginations about the dimension of the global crisis. You are a typical American ignores any reality.
God bless you. But that is all. And he will not. All America needs is great President Barack Obama be re-elected in November. And that will happen.

26.... You asked me the same question as Klaus.. Here is the ans.

This should put the question of how much is Obama worth to bed. BTW as per his tax returns......

I have a question for you.. How much is Romney worth? Maybe you have the inside track on this TAX RETURNS!

Klaus,
I do not hope for this. It is just the way it is. It's not just America. I fully understand this is a global problem. The small thinkers and ones with no imaginations are the central banks and the politicians of the world. They have only one goal. Power!

I guess it is a flaw of the human race. We do not learn from history and are doomed to repeat it. Over and over again. Maybe we are improving? Wars and monetary crisis seem to be less frequent today.

26,
I do pay attention to that chart. I am sure the line on that chart will head skyward when nations go broke and bond yields skyrocket as the central banks go for broke with massive bond purchases and liquidity injections. But what happens to that chart when that fails and the deflationary spiral turns into a black hole? Helicopter Ben has a plan but it won't do any good at that point.

I did very well with gold during Obamees first 3 years, because I knew he would drive up inflation, until it flattened out at the end of last year. The best things out there now are the high yields REIT's and will remain so until Uncle Benny B decides to raise interest rates, which I doubt he is able to do.

By the way, did you notice 1Paradise lost answered my question for Klaus?? Obama earned all his $$$ by writing books, which I'm sure he hired an author to do. The story also says Obama has not reported his 2011 tax returns, but he is all over Romney for not reporting his.

The BS just goes on and on, while Rome burns.

On the bright side Corzine won't be prosecuted for anything and is now about to start a hedge fund. It's all becoming a sick joke. I don't see myself going to the polls in November. It no longer matters.

Helicopter Ben can't drive rates up. Not now, not ever. The rise in interest payments on the debt would destroy the federal budget, health care will do that by itself soon. The market can demand higher rates, and it will. Ben will buy treasuries hand over fist to keep yields down but, that can't go on forever. It will destroy the Dollar and cause commodities (gold) to skyrocket. I'm anxious to get this election over. The American people are going to be told bits and pieces of reality once we get into 2013. They're not going to like it.

There was no Replublican Party until Abraham Lincoln. Beginning with Lincoln, there have been a total of 19 Republican Presidents and only 9 Democrats.

A very small percentage will pay this tax under the provision of high income earners (over 200K, single or $250K married) with net investment income.... It is sinewy but it applies in certain conditions to home sale.

If you care to read through the document explanation, have fun:

but I like the abridged review as offered by:

http://www.factcheck.org/2010/04/a-38...

Can we agree, that this could impact quite a few properties on Marco Island? And who would have thought this tax reform would be part of a healthcare act.

FYI, I do appreciate the recent discussion with WTF and the cited references. I had forgotten about Stockman's analysis.

You are right about Ben's inability to do anything but continue to destroy the $$$.

Gold as of a few minutes ago is up to $1618.50 which is the only true indicator of what is happening.

Maybe I'll stay home as well on Election Day, and buy more gold as a bet Obamee will win.

Klaus,

While you are in Spell Check Mode you might want to read this article and explain why your Idol Obamee is such cheap skate toward his own family after earning $11M selling books. I'm sure he could have tripled sales except for the fact that only about ten percent of his "Followers" can read.

This is complete nonsense. It is not in there. There is no such law and no such tax. If there were a tax as you claim, it would have had to have been voted on by Congress which it has not. You are either making this up or you are repeating something that someone else made up. You should really just believe facts, not what some right wing nut claims the law says or what some radical website claims. There is a lot of nonsense on the Internet. You have to be smart enough to be able select truth from fiction.

The Republican party you see today is NOT the party of Reagan. The current Republican party is full of (I hate to say this) Nazis! I have never seen so-called American acting so badly.

They are anti women.
They are anti blacks.
They are anti education.
They are anti voting rights.
They are anti Taxes.
They are anti environment.
They are anti compromise.

Right wingers are no better than Nazis. How do you know that Romney never took money from Putin? Or from China, or from Iran. You don't, that's why they ALL show there tax returns. You guys don't care.. Power at any cost! Your kind is killing America.

You say "the crats are a crooked bunch" Your the typical right wing Republican voter. You and you crew are full of hate and love power!

BTW... Showing ones tax returns has been the norm since his Mitts father did it it 1968. What kind of American are you? Are you Honest and fair person, Can you read? What does he have to hide?

It's people like you is the reason the Republicans are going to loose. Your WAY to far to the right.

I do remember Goldwater in 64, that was the reason he lost by an landslide. But one would have to have an open mind and read the history books and learn from what they read.

Most American are NOT as full of hate as you, thank God!

Based on 1Paradiselost's RANT following this post by you, I would say that He or She has completely flipped out, and revealed Her or His idiotic thoughts, and hatred, by calling Republican’s Nazi's.

A quick study of history, which 1PL needs to do, will reveal General Eisenhower, a Republican, was a major factor in the defeat of the Nazi's.

DUH!!!!!
