It was 4:30PM when he said "God Bless America", and he may have been in one of very few sober moments.

Exactly what I said: Just people with a cheerful disposition believe that this organization is effective.
This groper concept is just good for some idiots carry their guns in planes and play hijacking. Terrorists go other ways.
The only really effective way is profiling.
No doubt about that.

Very true

TSA serves what is termed 'Security Theater' like the practice of uniformed guard companies hiring minimum wage morons, often ex-cons, to stand around office buildings and have you sign some pointless piece of paper when entering.

Failure rate = 70%

TSA is typical of the cancer of the Federal government. Not even a ~100% failure rate would cause its dissolution.

Instead probably it would get a funding boost, like those other essentially worthless Federal organizations: CIA, DEA, ICE....
