You can start by answering my LTE of a few weeks ago entitled "Please Tell Me Why".
I have received a great many phone calls, emails and even two personal letters from citizens that I have never met before in regard to that LTE. I can tell you that our people are VERY upset with our local government.
I realize that there are a few small inaccuracies in that LTE...which I corrected in a follow up letter to both papers, but they do not detract from the points made.
One thing that I know for sure is that everyone using a gallon of water and anyone generating a gallon of sewage needs to pay the same for the service and that is FAR from true today. I see that your campaign manager is a man with little sympathy for that argument, as is also true for others involved in your campaign. Until I see your EXACT position (not wishy washy political language that irritates all of us greatly), I will not vote for you....period.
In addition, I wish to hear your position on who should pay for the pipes in need of repair. There was no set aside for this maintenance EVER. Why should a single family home owner pay for his own connection as well as all new connections for others? When will this rape of one segment of the community cease? It is outrageous.
Please address "Please Tell ME Wy". I assure you that MANY are waiting and I will not rest until it is answered by EVERY candidate.
Sincerely,
John Putnam
