Forgot one big one about to be decided in the near future by the Supreme Court with regard to the constitutionality of requiring all Americans to purchase a service.
Imagine in this country, a law that requires Americans to purchase something. All the statistics and fun facts cannot elevate the discussion of healthcare given the overhang of the constitutionality, that I believe will result in the demise of the healthcare reform act.
I thought I would never live to have the Federal government force me to purchase something as a condition of living. I read it somewhere, was it 1984? Was his name George Orwell?
I believe it was required reading in high school.
God help us all!
