Sure, what's another week? No hurry since they will choose the acting anyway. Another week at the lower pay grade won't hurt the City none. What I can't understand is why they don't just ask the Police Foundation to make the selection anyway? Or the Board of Realtors? Or the Chamber of Commerce? Or the Knights of Columbus? Oh my, the majority of those organizations are populated by pretty much the same folks. Silly me.
