I think the dog park is a great addition to Marco Island. It has given a great sense of community to dog owners. Many days I see people come into the park with no dogs just simply to experience the space! I haven't encountered very many unattended "messes", and if an owner doesn't see their dog go to the bathroom, the other park-goers will always point it out in a friendly way...we all want the park to look nice and be clean.
When at the park, I often think of the homes bordering it, and I feel for them because they do need privacy bushes there!!
But all in all, the park is a great addition to this Island and we love it!
