Lee Memorial is the only "Trauma" center South of Tampa. That is why he was sent there. Wait till he sees his Life Flight bill from Collier County EMS. Blue Cross Blue Shield of FL told me they are "out of network" so they only cover a low percentage of the bill. They also said that Collier County EMS charges too much and have a monopoly in Collier County since they are the only ones. We need some competition to lower the costs!
