This is a clear as it gets to confirm if they have any confidence in private monies to create a bio park. This statement is simply unbelievable:
"Commissioner Frank Halas said the decision gives local residents’ time to put pressure on federal lawmakers to pass a second stimulus package to states."
I thought the pressure should be on the promise of Jackson Labs and its supporters to garner additional private monies, NOT public stimulus money.
They simply do not understand private business. In order to prosper you must have demand for goods and services. Not government generated disbursement of public monies.
I really believe I am living in a country that our forefathers would not recognize today. All I see are organized activists badgering the electorate. Time to wake up Collier county and vote them out for not protecting the public interest.
