You witnessed the infancy of a city. As such, the behavior of a city as akin to a suckling child.
My concern is that of a ten year old child (oops I meant city) whose wants are misinterpreted as needs. I for one am amazed how the tantrums are soothed with sweets. You know, $60K for this group, $38K for that group, $100K for him, $250K for her..........
The City of Marco Island has to grow up, and grow up fast, because after 10 years we still find ourselves in kindergarten.
I have no opinion yet as to the need of a high school on Marco Island, but if we gauge mental aptitude of those that represent us on this island we need to get past middle school.
