We pay a fortune in taxes for salary, benefits & overtime for these borderline characters to protect us.

But what protection? This is not a real city where cops face gun-battles and any true on the job animosity or stress.

Their main risk is from drag racing the cruisers at night.

This person didn't kill herself over job stress doing her job to protect us.

It was some romantic dalliance.

Shooting herself was indeed poor judgment.

Do you think somebody like this should be running around with a gun?

Instead of killing herself, she would have displayed better judgment by recall of sage advise from the knowledge-base of watching Oprah & Dr. Phil....
