Fossil: Are you serious?

He does not have control of the leadership position until January. But if he takes his cue from the opposing party leader, Ms. Pelosi, he can claim that the folks are not patient enough to allow the policies to kick in. But the Boehner house has not yet come to the voting stage to control and pass legislation, so we must wait a few weeks at least.

Mr. Boehner's public position, that government does NOT create jobs, is a good starting point with a basis in reality. And I would expect you to support, since government would limit the amount of money to subsidize corporation greed. However, I believe the stimulus and all its trappings was nothing more than keeping states afloat in 2009 and doling out monies for like-minded supporters of big government.

The extension of unemployment benefits simply extends the length of time it takes to motivate the folks to accept jobs or start new ones.

Was your one liner remark just another glib response or a clear indication of your evaluation the reality? The American people are engaged and they get it. Watch out we are in for a wild ride, since I do not to date, see the left wing Pelosi contingency of the Democratic Party recognizing the impact of the 2010 vote. The entire Democratic Party had been overwhelmed with extreme left wing progressive views, are now paying the price for not listening to moderates and independents, of which I claim the Teaparty members represent.

However, to RayPray's comment, the Republican Party now is given a second chance and they must be emboldened to govern within a conservative framework.

No Progressive agenda of spending and more Federal government control. If they embark on the past Republican Progressive policies of McCain et. al., they are done.

But I have hope, because we have a young and vibrant freshmen congress. And let us not forget the impact of new electorate in the states. Very impressive.

I do not envision the next Congress to repeat the failure of the "Do Nothing" Republicans in 1948.

Americans are screaming for smaller government and fiscal restraint. They saw a glimpse of liberal progressiveness and it scared the hell out of them. It certainly woke me up from my slumber.
