In my hometown up North we have been hit with 18% increases over the course of a few years but still our water is cheaper than Markup Island.

Why is it that the base charge is 50.00 dollars?
Why again do most part time residents pay the frieght for the full timers. I pay 50.00 bucks a month and I use not a drop of water. In fact my main valve at the house is off until I get there. Yes, I can get the main turned off at the street if I pay the service charge another "fee" of Markup Island.

Like I say we part timers pay through the nose and use nothing. No trash still pay, No water or sewer still pay. No road use, still pay. No burden on City services and still paying.

For the good of ALL residents we need to get a handle on this water deal before we ALL go down the drain.
