islandeye: You want us to believe that the eight (8) years GW was in office had little if nothiing to do with our country's problems today? You actually believe that Obama's policies developed in the first year and implemented during the next six months are the greatest cause of our nation's problems today? The thing the Obama haters can't get over is the total devestation that occurred during the last six months of the Bush administration. Recent revelations by GW prove that he really doesn't understand how it happened. Now you can't accept the fact that the Obama polices may have arrested the crisis and that just maybe this fellow will be able to put things right. You champion a party that has a primary goal of getting him out of office in 2012 and not of making our country whole again? You still believe that health care is to blame, yet so little of it has been enacted that it cannot be considered as a contributing factor to the recession and projections four and five years out predicting a poor outcome are just that, projections based on no facts. Stop making excuses and admit that two parts to this problem must be examined to fully understand it. Pre recession and post recession. Most economist cautiously believe that the recession has been arressted and that current polices are beginning to show their worth. What is it about what these economists say that is so hard for you to understand? Are you really angry that they may be working? Don't you care about the millions of citizens out of work? Don't you understand the devestaing events that have ruined their lives? The wealthy represnet only 2 percent of us. Why do you care so much about their good fortune? Especially since they have proven to be so tight fisted with their money. Most Americans pay their taxes because they know it's a duty they must endure. What is so special about these rich folks? If they feel that they shouldn't pay their fair share, then why are they not at least investing in our country? Wouldn't that be the patriotic thing to do? Isn't the country more importnat then politics and money?
